I think I pulled a muscle in my pelvic area. I'm trying to identify the muscle group. It's between my hip bone and belly button and it is very painful to run, lunge, sneeze, and do any type of ab work. Is that too low and isolated to be an ab?

if it's towards the side, it could be an oblique ab muscle, and if it's below your belly button, it could be a lower ab. judging by your description, it does sound like an abdominal issue. if you can't remember pulling the muscle, then you should definitely see a doc, since it could be something else. try not to do the exercises that hurt the area, let it rest. if it doens't start feeling better, you should see a doc. -
