Any British citizen, and for that matter any citizen of any nation, can vote in US elections. All they have to do is go through the formal process of obtaining US citizenship. They do not have to renounce their original citizenship and are able to keep their old passport. Many people have done so. However, no matter what nation one is from, if they are unwilling to buy in to the system then they are not allowed the vote. There is a price to pay for getting the vote.

Well if we're going to open up the American Election to those outside the country I'm thinking us up here in Canada should get a say since who runs the country can screw us over. >.< And Mexico... though really.. what a silly notion. The whole reasons to be a citizen of a country is to be able to get to decide who runs it for you.

No one should vote in Americans elections, unless they are a citizen and live in The United States. Our democracy is entirely different from most other countries. No livey here.....no votely here. Talk about stuffing the ballot box!!

No way! What if they swing the vote the wrong way and merica suffers for it? What do they care - they don't have to live with it. Let Americans do American work. No other countries allowed in our democratic process!

Only if we get to vote on theirs on an equal basis. In fact,this should be world wide. Talk about wars between different power groups!!!! Instant and violent. May be the beginning of the end of human life on earth.

If Britain or any other country is allowed to vote in this election we should be allowed to vote in theirs lol. No offence but the majority of us are too busy with our own political candidates to pay attention to yours, im sure its the same way for you guys too. Although i think it would be pretty neat for America to have the Queen of England as a figure-head Queen of America. I think it would be a beautiful symbolic link, between our two countries. But then again it would void what America is about, so its just a dream.
