It was the first one (which is now the fourth - go figure!). Mainly because: - I saw it at the drive in as a youngster. - It was all new then - cutting edge technology and effects. - It created a daydream about travelling through the galaxy and fighting bad guys in space and meeting weird aliens. None of the other movies were able to beat that!

I have trouble trying to figure out the answer to this question. Do I like Jedi or Empire more? Eh, I don't think I'll ever know.

Star Wars Episode IV because it was the first time I'd ever seen anything like it. I was about 10 years old at the time and a movie like that really makes an impact on someone that age.
