What does motion in limine mean? this was in reference to a pre- trial schedule. It stated that the motion be filed 15 days before trial .legal jargon i don"t understand.

    A motion inlimine is a motion you file with a court requesting that certain evidence be excluded at trial. It must be filed in advance to give the other side time to object to the motion, and so that a hearing can be held on the matter.
