My first impulse was to say "Go, Dog. Go!" but that wasn't a Suess book. It was by P.D. Eastman. But that's my favorite Suess-STYLE book. Out of the books actually written by Dr. Suess, I gotta say "Fox in Socks".

Oh! The Places You'll Go! should be a required graduation present. This masterpiece would be closely followed by The Sneetches and Horton Hatches the Egg.
-
YES. Me too! Green Eggs and Ham is my favourite Dr. Seuss book. My favourite quote is also by Dr. Seuss "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" They don't write children's books like they used to.
-
While I liked Dr. Suess as a kid, I was not a fanatic. I did like the Lorax the best I think.
-
Oh, I have to love 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas'. But, 'The Sneetches' is an excellent story to teach children about tolerance, diversity, predjudice, and the class system. This may be one of the best of the lot, in that respect. For those who don't remember it, it's the story of the Star Bellied Sneetches. They were looked upon as being better than the Sneetches with no star on their bellies.
