  • no, he's young and very impulsive, I will give him the chance to demonstrate on and off the arena that he can become a mature player and citizen and he make basketball a greater sport.
  • No, I wouldn't lose all respect for anyone based on one boneheaded incident. It WAS boneheaded though. But nobody's whole value can be assessed from a single data point -- or even a series of data points. Human beings are complex animals. God forbid anybody should play back my worst moments on national T.V. ICK! Did you see "Defending Your Life" with Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep? It's a great comedy on this topic...
  • I have had little respect for him since this story was reported about him two years ago. "Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony is featured in an underground DVD that is circulating in his home town of Baltimore, Md. The DVD is called "Stop Snitching" and shows alleged drug dealers talking about what happens to people who cooperate with the police, and Anthony is standing next to one of them. He is also seen on the DVD talking about his Olympic bronze medal and saying that he threw it in a lake. The man he stands next to later goes on to tell how he would take care of snitches by "putting a hole in their head." However, Anthony does not appear to be taking part in that portion of the discussion".
