First of all, it is a process you have to go through. I have been in this situation, reversed, and it is hard. First you have to report the situation to CPS, and let them do their thing. I know it is gonna feel like they don't do anything or they don't care, but it has to start there. You can have other people call them as well, they could call and remain anonymous, so that they don't have to know that they could be your friends or family helping you in the situation. Then, while they are conducting their investigation, I suggest you get your home in order. Depending on the number of children, you have to have a sleeping area for each, girls can be in the same room but must have seperate beds, same for boys. If the kids are under 5, boys and girls can be in the same bedroom with seperste beds for them. You have to have a steady and reliable income coming in, food in the house, and toys and learning material that are age appropiate. They will make sure you have a clean house and that you have all your priorities in line. If you work and they will be at home during the hours that you work, you must provide a babysitter for them and show who will be watching them. You need to make sure you have all your I's dotted and T's crossed so you can do this the right way. I wish you luck and don't get discouraged. If all of this is happening like you said, they will find that the children could be in danger. You could also check around your ex's home and see if other people could vouch for her behavior and see if they would be willing to write out statements of things that have happened or if they would be willing to speak to a CPS representative if they came to talk to them. This would also help. Hope this helps you. Always willing to help a man who wants to be a child's DADDY.
