  • Pills almost always have a bad side effect. And a loss of "a whole lot of weight in about a month & a half* is not safe or healthy. You probably don't want to hear it, but the best way to lose is to cut down fat and portions and get some kind of exercise. There is no magic pill. I've tried appetite supressants and Slim Fast, etc....nothing worked very well for very long. And when you stop, the weight comes back. The only thing that has worked for me was when I joined Weight Watchers almost 5 years ago. I've lost and kept off the 80 lbs I needed to lose. I also got my bp/cholesteroal down to normal, too. WW is not so much a "diet" as it is a healthy eating lifestyle. Good luck to you!
  • Water. Not only does it have no calories, but it makes you feel fuller. There are no quick and easy "pills" to lose weight. You have to work at it.
  • For quick weight loss, all the studies I've read point to Atkins. It doesn't work for everybody, but most people will lose weight fast if they stick to the diet religiously. Keeping it off is hard though.
