Is it rude to not include the same guest list as your wedding for a vow renewal or is changing it okay?

I don't think it's rude at all. I think it's a very special thing and i would only wish to share it with very special people.

That would depend.. How long after the wedding is the vow renewal? If it has been a long time and you've lost touch with some of the people, I don't think it's rude at all, especially if these others aren't local. Generally vow renewals are small, intimate gatherings, consisting of family and close friends. Weddings are normally large and include (sometimes) people you don't even know!:)
