They usually over look the REAL story, and that is the HUMAN TRAGEDY, not the shoot outs and car chases.

They use real equiptment and have been trained how it is used. They have alot of technical help also and advisors. Some of the stories I have read are based on real life cases. They have to be careful to alter them enough so they are not sued of course.

Well, I have to say, when they see a single strand of hair, in a second, on a brown floor, THAT is a little far fetched, but some of the things they do testing on, I would imagine, they have studied, to make it as real as possible. Yes, I do think they have some relevance to real life stories, but I sure do wish thier was an answerbagger, that is a forensic pathologist, that could verify this lol!
