Pacific Coast Highway. Also windy roads at night away from the city when you are the only one on the road.
-
a two lane blacktop winding through hills covered with orchards and pastures
-
a long, empty one

I like very winding mountain highways with high cliffs and a view of the ocean while driving.
-
Fresh blacktop. They're smooth, quiet and safer; you can see the lines better, even in bad weather.
-
Six lanes of unending, smooth-as-glass highway, with minimal vehicular traffic, beautiful alpine or mountainous scenery, where I can stop a while and take in the view. Think of Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden. At night, the ideal road is one which is well illuminated and with highly visible signs.
-
An empty one.

Straight, Smooth and Long.

The back roads away from rush hour traffic for me. Plus here in Missouri. I still drive the side roads like the old 66, most the time.

Any one that hasn't got a cop hidden in the bushes and is in good enough shape to get that Harley rollin'! ;-)
-
The winding, hilly ,single carriageways of the English Lake District......I'd love to do them on a Harley.....Oh well maybe some day.

My ideal road is the 1 that leads me home! If I can't have that then give me an empty freeway, a lot of power, and some good comp and lets c what happens!
