I think no matter what type of relationship, responsibilities should be shared evenly between partners (but there is very little responsibility to be shared in live-in relationships anyway, compared to a marriage). But anyway, since you say to choose only one, I'll have to say more should lie with the male, only because I was brought up to think the females should always be spoiled haha ^_^ but realistically females in live-in relationships have the most responsibility because most guys don't really care about keeping things tidy.

I will choose as i wish, according to my honest belief, as i am not one to go against that simply because someone insists that i do. Relationships and responsibilities vary to a great degree and i do not believe a one choice answer fits all people. ~ It is my belief that on a personal level, we each should strive to be responsible for ourselves and not be placing responsibility for our thoughts feelings and actions upon our partner. I think the sharing of household chores should be fair and reasonable to each person, according to other contributions they may bring to the relationship through their work/income.

I think all relationships are different. I think that both are responsible for different things and when it all comes out they should equal out.

Speaking from experience 5+ years I have OFTEN thought about this and have come to determine that in my situation it is quite equal. I would have to write a detailed list to figure out if one or the other is SLIGHTLY more.
