No credit history.
Depends on how much credit you were applying for. If you have an income to pay off your credit card. How old you are. Several reasons why. Usually most banks will start you off with $600 credit limit if you don't make much money.
You haven't established your "credit worthiness."
Go to a local department store like Macy's and open an account. This will establish a credit history for you.
Or, go to a bank and get a debit card (which works like a credit card) or get a secured credit card.
