If I like the guy, I like his chest. Hairy or not. My boyfriend has some hair (not a carpet or anything) and I like it. However, if I'm just out on the beach, or at the pool and there are guys without shirts around... I won't lie, I like the hairless chests better for eye-candy purposes.

I prefer smooth chests but my boyfriend has got quite a hairy chest. I'm not put off by it, although I am planning ways to get him to get rid of it. Hairy backs are a definate no no though.

My father's chest is very hairy. My husband's chest has about 20 hairs that I try to pluck out. Not the most important criteria for me I suppose.

Hairy chests are fine, my boyfriends is quite hairy. However he's the only guy ive ever dated with a hairy chest. I only find chest hair gross if its like patches or tufts that are sparse and all random... eugh. :S

Actually I do, but Im also very particular about hygiene - so the hairier the guy, the more conscientious Id prefer him to be. But generally, hair can be sensual on a guy in most places

I prefer 1-3...I have nothing against 4-7, but anything more than that gives me the willys. I once saw a guy sitting at the ferry docks. I thought, "What an unusual sweater he is wearing!", only to discover as I walked closer that it was his chest (and back) hair and he had no shirt on. YEECH.

It depends on how hairy the guy is and what he's like. If he's got a good personality and just has a hairy chest then that's not really an issue for me. He can be gorgeous from the outside and have a great personality but then have a hairy chest. So what I don't care!
