they're politicians whether you vote for them or not, people who will say whatever it takes to get their own way. decent isn't the first word that springs to mind.

I'm convinced John McCain would have done a better job than W if he were elected 8 years ago. But he has changed in those eight years, for the worse. He's a good person who has good intentions, I just believe those intentions are out of touch and wrong. I also think Sarah Palin is incompetent.

Of course. They both are. I have felt that way about the candidates ever since I have been voting (and that was first in 1976).

In the begining yes. Now the negativity has gotten so over the top that I'm not sure I still have much respect for McCain.

I could have before the campaign turned so negative. For awhile there I wasn't thinking the other candidate was a decent guy at all - but that's lessened some lately as he's changed his stance.

No, but I could admit that both the person I voted for and the person I didn't vote for were both rip-offs as far as choices go.

I admit Biden is a decent guy, but Barack is just too two faced. Here is a few quotes from his own books to illustrate my point, though they are not pictures. :) From Dreams of My Father:'I ceased to advertise my mother's race [white] at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.' From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.' From Audacity of Hope:'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.' Please don't take these quotes lightly.

No. I made my decision based on the issues that are important to me. The candidate I am not voting for failed to win me over on the issues, and now the dirty politics has totally disillusioned me. Lies and deception are not characteristics of a decent person.

Don't know either of them so it's hard to say if they're decent. But I actually like McCain just as much as I do Obama. But for the job they're wanting I just happen to like what Obama says he can do a bit more.

nope.i believe that McCain is dishonest, there is nothing decent about him at all.
