How and when did global warming and greenhouse gas emissions become an issue? (When did people realize it's serious consequences?) (I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT OZONE LAYER DEPLETION:))

When scientists saw an ozone hole in anartica and its now the size of the US and growing. The fact that scientist saw that the ice caps are melting and how in most of the US theres NO SNOW. My bad i answered it wrong. I meant right now theres no snow yet.

7-8 years ago, even though we thought about climate change for at least 100 years. We are only aware recently about global warming.
