  • My first guess would be a hardware issue with the keyboard itself. Try a different keyboard. If you receive the same problems with a new keyboard, check your settings in the Control Panel - both in "Keyboard" and "Regional and Language Options".
  • Throw the keyboard away and head to your nearest Goodwill Store. Keyboards are really cheap there. $3.95 each.
