There is no Pope in Islam. There is no general leader. In fact, Muslims in Asia have their own leadership they follow, Arabs follow their own and they conflict. There is a pan national movement that is focusing on the second and third generations who have moved into Global Islam as it always should have been and some of those leaders are Tariq Ramadan, Amr Khaled and Sami Yusuf. Tariq was raised in Switzerland, Sami, England and the U.S has Suhaib Webb. What they are all doing is working together across the globe with young Muslims toward a universal Islam beyond Arab, Paki or Asian Islam for a united Islam. They are part of a popular upwardly mobile movement from Egypt to Europe and in the U.S which is gaining steam and is very well accepted and has even impacted Islam in the west.
