Listen to some music, then go to the store or other place to make a donation, give blood, go to answerbag.com and answer peoples burning questions, or go online to make a donation to a good cause. Simply, by giving you will make it all seem a lot more worthwhile, and that will bring more than just a smile to your face, that stays in the heart.

Honestly, I'm the type that will not let myself be cheered up. I know it sounds stupid, but I have a hard time being in the company of other people when I'm depressed or angry. It usually ends up making me feel worse. I always feel like people are trying to make me feel better because of pity, and I don't like that feeling. I usually just throw myself into introvert mode for awhile until I can think things through on my own. I end up feeling better overall, it just takes a bit of time. .moses.

Listen to upbeat and happy music, or do something nice to help someone else and take my mind off of my own problems!

My wife and i, when we are having a sad time, pack a bag and head to the nearest casino. the fun, the lights, the noise, and the winning all make us forget our sadness. This works for us. If you can afford it, try it.
