I still am a child, or a teen. But I bet many many many baggers wish to be one.

There is still some child in every adult, hidden or very obvious. I thought of myself as an adolescent/adult I suppose in about 6-7th grade, when we started having boy-girl dances, and I started learning about Santa and the Tooth Fairy and all the other stuff I had believed as a child. Also, when I quit being spanked and got sent to my room was both a grateful relief, but I thought I might not be a child then also. When I didn't get the "children's menu" at restaurants or child rates at movies and things was also a tip off. :)

I probably stopped feeling like one when I was about 8, and I stopped regarding myself as one when I was about 11. I still love to do what many would regard as childish things though! Bring on bouncy castles!

7. We moved out and then it was just me, my mum and my sis, so I was sort of the disfuctional teenager until I was about 13 when my sister left home, and now I feel like a bloody single mum to my own mum half the time! Its screwed up, but there is still a bit of me who likes to dress up and eat sweets. I have to say, that bit tends to win over me quite a lot

When I was about 12, I started to transitoion more into thinking of myself as a just a person, rather than a child, I have'nt quite worked my way up to thinking of myself as an "Adult" yet, just "Person".

*LOL* I have never stopped thinking of myself as a child. I am glad I have some grey hair now, because that is the physical manifestation of being an adult, or indeed, a middle-aged adult - so, although I feel like a child, when i look in the mirror and see those grey hairs, I think : See? you ARE grown up!
