Snow has fallen once, but never laid on the ground. And that was in the first few days of december. Average temperature has been 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius for those in the UK). I live in Pennsylvania for cryin' out loud! We usually have winters with a lot of snow and very cold temps.
-
New York, Long Island North Shore Yes, we've had several days in the past few weeks where the daytime temp was between 60-70 degrees. We had flurries that lasted about 30 mins. three weeks ago. I haven't had to scrape frost off my car at all yet.
-
NO!!! We've had about 10 storms (wind, and snow). The temperature dropped to -15 and it was traffic chaos. We had LOTS of power outages and trees falling on roads. The HUGE storm recently also hit Washington where there have been 6 deaths! Last week, we had 4 storms in a row. This November and December has NOT been warm.
-
Yes. It has been very nice here in Ohio. We have only had a minor dusting of snow about 3 days thus far. Today it is around 50 degrees.

Good question! Yes, and it has had alot of health and other consequences for many people such as: 1. Continued Summer allergies long after Summer. 2. Sinus problems 3. Early flu illness has hit 4. People with colds all over, because they wear short sleeves during the day when it is 40-50 thinking it is still Summer, and it is not. They get overheated and sweat, and their immune system goes down, and they get sick. 5. Confused the birds and everything that grows from trees to crops the farmers farm.

NOPE, the northwest and BC coast has been getting smoked. Major rainstorm followed by big time snowstorm and major dip in temperatures followed by four intense hurricane force windstorms. We have had snow on the ground for over a month here and looking outside we are having a flurry as I type. Yeehaw.
-
NO WAY! its been like... 30 degrees here in San Francisco. The average temperature here during winter is like 50. so if you're missing cold, come to SF and take it back!
-
I can assure you, it has not. It is bloody freezing! I went out with no coat and no shoes (don't ask) and it was so cold it hurt. Minus something apparently. Unusually cold

Yes and we at one time had almost 10 inches of snow but now much of it has melted.

Yes. In Frederick, Maryland we usually have some snow or atleast some seasonal precipitation, this year it has been hot enough to walk without a jacket a few days in December.
-
Yup, NY has been warmer. Thanks a lot global warming.
-
Yes..it's really abnormal. Here in Buffalo we had a storm in October. lost power for 8 days. It crippled the area, ruined the trees. No snow on the ground either. Man, I hope we don't end up with snow in June!
-
Yes. We usually have very cold Decembers with lots of snow. Our temperatures have been for the most part between 40 and 50 degrees and of course no snow.
-
NC has been dry. Temp has fluctuated like normal. 32F to 68F. Shirt sleeves to light coat. Not bad at all. December is a transitional month here. February and March are the months that can really bring in the cold.
