In Ethiopia, March, 1896. Italian General Oreste Baratieri found himself suddenly outnumbered and surrounded. The defeat came as a shock to most emperialist countries of Europe. Mussolini was a slow learner, himself, in the nineteen thirties. The Ethiopians never surrendered. Their fight to keep their independence has been long and determined.
