Since the Higgs Boson supposedly gives everything mass, once we figure out how to isolate and remove it, will that mean we’ll have flying cars and floating, mobile skyports and sky-cities?

Not the way you're thinking. The Higgs boson is a manifestation of a Higgs field which permeates everything. It slows down ordinary matter to ordinary speeds. If you got rid off the Higgs field, everything would fly apart at the speed of light, just as massless particles, like light photons do. However, the science that will be discovered in the search for the Higgs boson will certainly have many practical applications, which may include some new kind of antigravity. We already do have magnetic levitation trains.
