  • Used to take him all the time. Then I made the mistake of taking him with me on a very hot day, and he didn't have enough to drink before we left I guess. Even with the windows down 1/3 of the way, when I came out of the store after only 10-12 minutes, he was panting alot and in some distress. I would never do that to him again (hot or cold weather). I felt so terrible and ashamed.
  • I have taken my pet out a few times in the car, but it has a knack of escaping whatever we put it in, for some reason it always hides the same place, on top of the spare wheel, I don't even know how it first found its way down there. So far its never made its way into the main part of the car, but I think it would help prevent the car from being stolen if it did, not many people would take a car with a 5 foot snake curled up on the drivers seat! The reason I take it is educational, a lot of people have fears of snakes and think they are horrible slimy things, but they are not and I help people get over their phobias and let them see an animal up close that most have only seen on TV (I am in the UK, so not many wild snake around). My daughters school even asked us to take it there and we had this huge line of 6 years olds desperate to see it and few others that stayed on the other side of the room!
  • i always worry about my 2 dogs getting stolen. the only time i take them in the car is when i take them to the country park for a walk. i walk them daily to make sure they get enough exercise. i would never ever leave them in the car alone. the best thing to do is get your dog chipped incase they do get stolen or even lost and that way its easier for you to find your pet.
  • Yes our cat rides sometimes. If I leave the window cracked she'll climb in and sleeps.I don't see her until I'm down the road a ways.
  • I take my rat Moka with me to go to the pet store, lots of people make rude comments to me saying" why do u carry that discusting thing around". And when they see her on my shoulder in the store lots of people stay far away from me. And no, i don't worry about my rat ever getting stolen by someone when im outside with her. because she is always on my shoulder or poking her head out of the back of my shirt.
