  • you need a majority vote. either by petition of all the landowners in the hoa or by bringing the issue to a vote at a meeting.
  • Start a petition and get the other home owners to sign it then present it to the board. If you have a majority of the home owners who have signed it, they have to vote on it.
  • The terms and conditions of the HOA are public information and they must share with you. It should have been with your purchase agreement, or lease, if you are renting. This information cannot be withheld.
  • If 67% of the residents agree, can the board still vote it down?
