Am I the only one completely confused by this VW commercial? Why would someone have a baby so they could get a car? Why would you need to? Can you help me understand?

Brooke Shields filmed this commerical in my community and caused traffic jams and congestion. She should just be happy she has two babies and leave other people out of it. My husband's boss and co-worker drive Audi's and they are in the repair shop constantly. So how is that for GERMAN engineering?

This is 1 of a series of ads. I think the idea is having a baby gives you an excuse to by a better "german engineered" suv. Now you would have a reason for a bigger safer car. It's supposed to be so odd that it catches your attention and gets you talking about it. Which it obviously has, so strange as it may be it is an effective ad.

I think its suppose to mean that the car is so amazing that, to get it/own one, women would have a baby. The car, i'm assuming, is a fmaily sized car...so if you dont have a fmaily, you'd make one just to get the car. Actually, now that Ithink about it, it doesn't make as much sense as I htought. Still funny though!
