Quite the conundrum, isn't it? I've always wondered how someone says they are "pro-life" but is pro war, pro death penalty, pro guns and anti stem cell research. If they say that abortion is murder, then isn't the death penalty and war murder? And we are they against research that could save millions of lives? Those beliefs contradict each other. While I don't condone abortion as an alternative for those who couldn't be bothered to use birth control, in the case of rape, incest or endangerment of life, I think a woman should have the right to choose and have access to a SAFE abortion.

The reason is that the "pro-life" position is rooted in religion, and few thingsa re as contridictory as religion.

I dont believe in abortion as a means of ridding yourself of a child that could have prevented through birth control. But I believe in the legal right to one. And I support the death penalty through and through, for cold blooded murders and child rapists. I am against the war and pro stem cell research.
