Yes, but you must pay penance by watching every infomercial they broadcast for the next year, and make at least 25 purchases from them. Or you may make only ten, if they are all from Ron Popeil. Only then may you have your soul back.

Just think of yourself as a constant example to your children. Doesn’t matter how old they are, they still think they’ll grow up to be/marry Momma Bear. So do you want your kids to think that a permanent TV trance is a good thing? Or would you like them to be active? Imaginative? Inventive? Inquisitive? Don’t ever tell yourself or your children to stop watching TV without providing yourself or your children with something better to do. But give them an example you'd want them to have.
