My understanding is that the religious right oppose abortion and also birth control. Now, of course, that creates quite a dilemma for each woman, doesn't it? Happy Thursday! :)

A lot of them do. They care immensely about the "soul" prior to birth, but afterwards we're all worthless pieces of shit!

I don't. There's nothing wrong with birth control. It doesn't make sense though to make a baby and then have it murdered.

I am anti abortion ... Yet believe birth control is fine ... Preventing the male sperm from fertilizing the female egg is not killing a human life ... Many people who call themselves pro-life also are opposed to birth control. This is because a large amount of them are religious people who see it as immoral to interfere with the process of making life. These people, instead, propose "abstinence only," which doesn't work. However, this is not a rule for anti-abortion folks, and there are plenty, both religious and non-reloigious, who are fine with birth control. I, myself, might say that I am anti-abortion and pro-choice at the same time. That is, I don't really like the thought of abortion, but I think people should be able to do it. I'm sure I'm not the only one either...
