  • I agree with you to a point. Dating people of other religions is certainly not a problem, but dating *does* lead to marriage, and religious differences can and do place a wedge in many marriages. How will the children be raised, for example? What if each spouse is of a religion that claims to be completely true, while all others are at least partially false? We should certainly love and respect everyone, but I think such a situation would make it *very* difficult to have the unity that every family requires and deserves. As you just asked about dating, though, you’re right. Figure out if you like the person first, save the rest for later. My 2¢.
  • No. A lot of people are just dumbasses and put everything into their religion. SOme people never even experience love because they always put their god first. I think that makes people stupid.
  • As long as neither is a religious freak religious beliefs should have no significant effect in a couple's relationship.
  • I date only non-believers. I have no respect for people who believe in imaginary, invisible spirits. Sorry. :) ● "Faith is allowing yourself to believe something your intellect would reject--otherwise, there's no need for faith." ● "Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away." - Philip K. • Well in no way am i disrespecting those of you that say its stupid to put your religion first. I know with how deep i am in my faith, personally along with others i know, feel that its right to put your religion first. Me personally i have dated others from different religions, nothing wrong with that. Dont disrespect ppl because of their faith.
