  • It hasn't been proven. I believe that dreams are always a 'what-if?' scenario where perhaps we feel like we didn't or won't do the right thing and want to imagine what it would have/will be like. I'de prefer it if we had more control over our dreams...which gives we a new question idea. Dreams could be important -- if there's a symbolic, divine or psychic sense to them. Maybe there is, I don't know. I'de have to say they're only important in the sense that they allow us to partially escape reality in either a good or bad sense.
  • Dreams are one way that our sub-conscious mind processes and interpets reality. Therefore, they are important as indicators of what is going on iside of us and how we are responding to the world.
  • The easy answer here is dreams are exactly that, dreams. Reality is way more important.
  • Right now, dreams are pretty much keeping me alive, so they are very important to me, perhaps more than reality
