  • The officer must have had a reasonable suspicion to believe that a crime was committed. Being male or female is not a crime, so there must be more to this story.
  • He couldn't have known about your registration until he pulled you over so obviously you were pulled over for some other reason.
  • The only way he could have known that your name appears second on the registration is to have ran your plate on his computer or through dispatch, and it is not a valid reason to pull someone over. It is perfectly legal to drive a car that is not registered in your name. People borrow vehicles all the time, so it makes zero sense to me that you would be stopped for such a thing.
