What is the best type/brand of dye (blonde) to use(natural color is brown, but its been dyed blonde)? are there any that wont damage hair, or even better, any that actually improve its condition? (permanent dye)

I have just recently went through several products to dye my hair blonde which was naturally brown. The first two were a bust, however after a lot of research I found out that Revlon's Frosting Kit did the best job. It was meant to be a frosting/highlighting kit... but thankfully it did much more than that for me. I did have to do the cap, but I have the most beautiful healthy golden blonde hair now. Trust me it is the best by far.
