  • It's not only you. You have AT LEAST one other person in that boat - me. I THINK it's because many of the younger people are so used to doing text messages, it's just about the the only way they know how to communicate. I simply don't like being an interpreter. I won't be a decipherer of text messaging jargon and garbage. As soon as I see anything resembling text messaging, I skip it. I have knowledge and pretty good opinions in many subjects and topics. I provide pretty good to great answers. THE LEAST a person asking a Q can do is to use proper language AND English. Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!   • Not really,as there are lots of people who cannot spell,but as long as we can all undertand their questions and answers it doesn't matter.However,some youngsters and adults these days do shorten words,ie, text messages on mobile phones,so its understandable they they will do the same on AB.
