  • It sounds to me as if you have considerable free-floating anger. Please consider attending some anger management classes before you hurt someone. And it is IMPERITIVE for you to get this problem resolved before you have children!
  • I have to believe that there is something that has REALLY got underneath your skin, i_walk_all_alone. I would suggest doing some SERIOUS thinking about anything you really don't like, for while you might be able to pinpoint what irks you, you may not, which is why you should ask your g/f what she thinks. If nothing else works, use that anger to workout. Just don't get a heart attack or pop a blood vessel, for that would really irk me!
  • I have two words for you. Anger Management. http://www.anger-management-techniques.org/ http://www.apa.org/topics/controlanger.html http://www.angermanagementgroups.com/Skills.html
  • You seem like a good candidate for some good drugs...anti-depressants..... try some paxil or something like that. Definitely see a doc about your anger management problem.... and please don't move to florida...
  • If you have insurance coverage, ask your doctor for a referral to a counseling specialist. If you don't have, you can find a free service in the front pages of your phone book. You can also find a lot of tips and ideas by scrolling down to the bottom of this page and clicking on the "How to Articles", then type "anger management" in the search box.
  • You should go to see a doctor, it is possible you are bipolar or have ODD (Oppositional defiant disorder).
  • As humans in an angry society, we are naturally drawn to anger. You need to ask yourself if you are getting angry just to be angry, or is there some underlying reason for your anger. What helps me is to focus on the things in this life that I am grateful for. If you preoccupy your mind with the things that you are grateful for, it helps to calm and put things into perspective. Do not let your emotions control you, you are in control of your emotions.
  • See a doctor!! Anger is also bad for your own health as well as not good for people around you.
  • This is going to sound really lame but... Exercise. I feel that when I get really wrapped up internally and want to scream or punch something, if I go run as fast as I can it helps so much. Not only do you have time to think about whatever is making you mad but you get distance from the problem and fresh air. Try it!
