The ocean is where the waves lap gently on the shore and the moonlight shines from the sky to your feet...its where I go to think and realize how small and meanlingless all of my problems are. Its where the cycle of life begins and ends...the ocean...its inside us all...

For us it's the Pacific Ocean. Our "second son", Old School, has a great place in the Pt. Fermin area of San Pedro..a couple of blocks from the ocean. He is 100 miles from us. That same Pacific Ocean, from the Honolulu side, is where my son lives and works and surfs. If I squint my eyes when I look out I can almost see him, 2500 miles away, frolicking about! :)

I live in the Midwest, I can tell you that the Mississippi River is two blocks away from me. The ocean just a tad bit further. If I had to take a wild guess, I would say somewhere by a beach at the edge of the US.
