  • send a big naked hairy man up there to bang on her door and tell her he's trying to sleep take the damn shoes off.
  • talk to the tenant and understand what happens at four in the morning. sometimes knowing what causes the sound can ease your worries.
  • Actually my neighbor is a big hairy young man by himself and he is very loose in style of living. He likes enterntein himself regularly when normal people need to sleep. My problem is that condo managment do not like when tenants or owners bother them with complains.
  • All homeowners are entitled to "Quiet Enjoyment" of their property. In this instance, "quiet" seems to be the operative term. ;-) Please refer to the bylaws of your HOA for immediate mechanisms for satisfaction. State laws are your next level of protection. • Get a pitition or cork your celings. The first choice is cheeper.
  • JUST TELL THE PERSON "STOP OR I WILL REPORT YOU TO THE POLICE".
  • Ring his (hopefully loud) doorbell at 8 am the morning after. If he doesn't answer, hopefully, you've woken HIM up. If he does answer, be prepared with information about condo rules and making noise at odd hours. Tell him he can resolve this by taking off his shoes , walking more quietly, etc. Tell him you do not want to pursue this with the condo board or the Police if you don't have to but that you need your SLEEP & this situation is affecting your health. If nothing else, you'll find out where you stand.
