What are you smoking. No they don't worship Lucifer. Actually Buddism is more of a philosophy then a religion. I apprechiate your devotion to the one true faith but its not right to accuse innocent people of devil worship.

Buddhists don't actually worship a being. Some may say they worship Buddha, but he his not seen as a "God" like other religions. Buddhism is more spiritual and open minded than western religions.

Although Buddhism is practice as a religion in many cultures, this is not what true Buddhism is. Buddhism is an idea, not the worship of a deity, not Lucifer, not even Buddha himself. Buddha was just a man that happened to be enlightened, and taught his "revelations", if you will, to people that would listen. I almost downrated your question. On first reading it, it seemed to be somewhat inflamatory, and more of a statement disguised as a question. However, I will go on the assumption that you have been very misinformed, and are just trying to get to the truth.

Buddhists, just like people who bowl, are free to worship anything they please. Worshiping a non-sentient being is neither a requirement nor a prohibition of Buddhism.

I uprated this question. I think it is valid. Given that there are so many poorly-educated Christians in this country, who are taught a dualistic system in which anything that is not for Jesus must be for the devil, it is only natural to ask if Buddhism has something to do with the devil. A good first step to answering this question, in that case, would be to say that Buddhism is sort of like Christianity, but with differant names for everything.

I am a Christian and practicing Buddhism as well. Jesus also said, "if they be for us they are not against us" when talking to Peter who was worried about other people who were baptizing but they were not one of the 12 desciples. He also said, "if you live by the sword you will die by the sword", so as a Christian I will consider that Buddhists are not against us so they are for us and I will not fight them because to do so would mean that I would die fighting for no reason. I see so many parallels in both religions (philosophies). Call it what you want to call it, but you can make idols of so many things, and believe me we do. Prior to going to meditation, I was sitting on rock and roll fan club message boards for hours a day or in front of the t.v. Now I sit an hour a week on a cushion wishing happy thoughts upon all the people I love and those I have difficulty with. I wish peace upon the world and my neighbors in a very concentrated state of mind. I find that I can't do many of the things I used to do as a professed Christian. It is making my walk with Christ more powerful. Explain that!

Actually buddhism is glorification of the "devil" or any other name you could use to worship Anti christ and Anti - God. Many buddhists are not even aware of it. Any Christian (as stated above) who pretends to be also a buddhist is an ignorant who doesn't know anything about Christ, God and buddhism: The perfect prey. YOU CAN NOT CHANT "nam myo ho renge gyo" in a front of a gohonzon and be a Christian. Buddhism pretends to be a philosophy IT IS A RELIGION with a peaceful appearance. Perfect ground work for the jinn of the devil and evil forces in disguise. Buddhism GLORIFIES THE CREATION NOT THE CREAOR. In God's word and also Christ: Do not glorify the creation or the world but only the creator. Worship of the world is devil glorification. Nowadays, In most metropoles there is this grey zone where it is groovy to think that if you practice something spiritual it means that you are a cool and Godly. Witchcraft or voodoo are also spiritual but have nothing to see with God.
