  • I must admit I was very surprised when I found out, but, at least I took the trouble to discover. I fear that McCain and his types take a very superficial view of things.
  • I didn't know that! It's interesting!
  • source?
  • ..old age country..new age ideas..and we in America have hot water and air conditioning but we're much too "traditional" to allow a woman to take control..ay..
  • I'll vote for her...what is her name?.....I am not surprised. But I wonder why the put her in to office....a country that values a woman as much as dog dirt on their shoes?....Was it because they had been steered that way due to international influence?....I am not discounting her capability by any mean. It just doesn't fit with their culture/teachings....
  • Um.. John Adams was the first Vice President....
  • In Wikipedia, there is a description of her. Her name is Fatemeh Javadi. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatemeh_Javadi. There are eight VPs in the Iranian government. The previous woman VP in Iran was Masoumeh Ebtekar, who is also described in Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masoumeh_Ebtekar
  • No surprise since the Iranian President and multiple V.P.s have no power. The religious clerics run the country... the Pres and VPs are only radio and TV personalities.
  • Umm, John Adams was the first VP of the USA. Sarah Palin, if we are foolish enough to elect her, would be around the 50th VP.
