  • Many Christians support the right to choose. Not all Christians agree about when life begins.
  • He's a hypocrite.
  • You can make anything sound a certain way if you put enough spin on it. I'm highly skeptical that Obama supports elective abortion throughout the whole 9 months of pregnancy, even the most committed pro-choice advocates would say that's not morally sound. Rather, I suspect he said something like ''if the mother's life is at risk then abortion is a better alternative to the mother dying''. (Your links actually prove that is what he said, he supports Roe. vs. Wade which does not allow a woman to have an elective abortion throughout pregnancy) And yes, I would support him on that. After around 25 weeks a baby has a chance of surviving, so it becomes early delivery rather than an abortion. Before the age a baby can survive outside the womb, there's really not much point sacrificing the mother's life for that of the foetus -- the foetus can't survive without the mother. Then there's the issue of separation of church and state. Obama (or anyone else elected) should not be using Christianity to influence what he does as President, end of. Not everyone in the US is a Christian. Of course, you're welcome to supply links from the Obama campaign (as opposed to a pro-life group) to back up your claim.
  • Tell me how sending born children off to get slaughtered in a war is any different to the point you seem to be trying to make.
  • +3..does he really support it throughout all nine months? where does it say that?
