  • Your best bet is to check a local mechanic or go to driverside.com- you can go to your specific car's page (year/make/model) and ask your question on their, "ask a mechanic" board. It's worth a shot.
  • I am actually in Australia and although i do not have the Jeep Liberty i have a 2003 jeep Grand Cherokee. I had exactly the same problem twice. It would turn over and turn over but would not start. Then occassionally it would kick over. it turned out to be the 'o' ring in the fuel line. It says on the repair docket that they replaced the Fuel Module Kit. Basically the 'O' ring was perished and the fuel was returning back to the tank all the time. This meant it would take 3-4 times to try and start it. Usually on the 4th time it would start. Unless you had just turned it off and the fuel hadn't started returning to the tank. Your other problem could be the TDC sensor which sends the signal to the coil. Hope this gives you some help and another option to look at. Cheers Todd
