No. A dialect is not another language, it is a variation on a language marked by an accent such as (in the case of US English) a drawl or a twang. And who exactly would they be suing? And what for? There is no law saying that Spanish is the "official second language of the US" or anything even close to it. Any particular reason you are leaving out Chinese, French, Russian, German, ASL, or any of the other languages I see on signs or being spoken in my city on a daily basis? Or do you feel differently about people who speak those languages? +1

Yeah. Those fluent in high level assembly language have been discriminated against ever since it's inception. Personally, I'm more of a hex guy...tho binary has it's place as well. It's just not fair. The government should stop discriminating against all languages and instead promote them. Every podunk school district should be absolutely required to offer at least 65,536 language choices...both for study and on printed material for forms, applications, etc, so as to not give any more douchebags inferiority complexes.

Who requires you to learn or speak Spanish in America? Could you point me to the specific law you reference? BTW, linguistics have nothing to do with race. America has no official language, although Americans (being geographically rather isolated) do have a pronounced xenophobia triggered by the very idea that they have to tolerate non-Anglophones.
