It all depends on the decision of each individual. If an individual wishes to leave his estate (for example, money, furniture, real property, etc.) to charity or to any other person, he is free to do so.

sadly, i don't own anything to leave in a will. I had life insurance which I was going to leave to some charities but I had to cancel that so I guess people will have to remember me for what I was and not what I left

The same thing they left me in their will, NOTHING.

I dont care what is done with my stuff when i die, my kids or husband will take care of that bullshit.

I lost a close relative quite a few years ago, and there was a big family fall out about the inheritance, which I was extremely shocked that people (my family) could be so greedy and selfish, this family fall out has continued through, and family members still do not speak, thank you everyone for your views on this subject.

Around 60% of my estate is down for donation to charitable causes, and 45% fo the rainforest alone
