who cares she is one of a infinate amount of ppl
-
She is what she needs to be for the weeks ratings!!
-
She once said, "God is a feeling experience and not a believing experience. If your religion is a believing experience… then that's not truly God."
-
How would I know? Does she annouce these things on television? Is she an agnostic?
-
She's a new-ager. "God consciousness" "I'm a god, you're a god"..my quotes not hers, but this is new-age philosophy. Don't be swayed. Ecc 1:9 tells us that 'The thing that hath been, it [is that] which shall be; and that which is done [is] that which shall be done: and [there is] no new [thing] under the sun. Ecc 1:10 Is there [any] thing whereof it may be said, See, this [is] new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

Whether she is or isn't, is meaningless to me. Oprah's always going to be in line with current trends, to maintain her audience. Concerning the reliability of Oprah's judgement; she gave us Dr. Phil-'nuff said.
-
I doubt it, but she is rich! :)
-
No. I believe that Oprah is into New Thought Christianity.
-
I believe it is personal matter, not to be discussed by others...
-
No, she worships herself.
-
Not sure about the atheist thing, i just know she can't spell her own name. She was born Orpah (a biblical reference name) in rural Mississippi. Her grade school teacher mispronounced her name as Oprah, so she accepted the new moniker. However, she is smart enough to take everyone for a ride.

Does it matter?
-
I think, from what she has said publicly, that she is a new Ager. No distinct beliefs, just a general "spiritual" outlook.
-
That is unclear, but it is clear that she is not into organized religion. She certainly isn't Christian or any other form of Abrahamic tradition.
-
Who cares?
-
she is open. she is accepting of other peoples religions and beliefs I dont believe that she practices any herself
-
How does that effect me, or you if she was, or is?
-
No she isn't an atheist. She "claims" to be a Christian, and she promotes "religion" on her shows with increasing frequency. But the New Age religion that she so tirelessly promotes is 100 percent opposed to the foundational beliefs of Christianity found in the Scripture.
-
I don't know, but she does appear to be an idiot.
-
No she worships oprah and oprahs money.
-
No she is not. "Religious views Oprah was raised a Baptist. In her early life, she would speak at local, mostly African American congregations of the Southern Baptist Convention that were often deeply religious and familiar with such themes as evangelical Protestantism, the Black church and being born-again.[105][106][107] She was quoted as saying: "I have church with myself: I have church walking down the street. I believe in the God force that lives inside all of us, and once you tap into that, you can do anything."[108]"
