I like Rock. More than half of the songs in my iTunes are Rock. I don't really have any favorite groups, but I like Nickelback more than others. I like Alternative too. Gnarls Barkley.

i personally like some type of musiv from every genre. my favorite type is rock music; hard, and alternative rock. the red hot chili peppers are great. motely crue, van halen, guns n roses, nirvana, green day, and john frusciante are all of the artists that i can think of right now. rhcp are incredible, the bass lines, lyrics and the guitar are great. i've been listening to rhcp and van halen pretty much my entire life. eddie van halens guitar playing is incredibley good and he has awesome solos, i think i liked them the best with david lee roth.

I like soft rock and pop,like mariah carey, black eyed peas,nickle back,and many others, i guess i like all types of music.

There is no "Best Type Of Music." If you're asking my preference, please don't. My taste in music is all over the place, I listen to everything from classical pieces by Bache and Motzart, to alternative rock like Harvey Danger, Cracker, and dozens of others I'm sure you've never even heard of, to swing and 'almost country' like Michelle Shocked and Ass Ponys, to old blues and ragtime like Robert Johnson. And I love all of it. There is no best type of music, it's just a matter of what you like and apreciate.

I believe every kind of music has it's moment, but I personally like it when bands are creative and experimental. Mandy indie bands or the original emo bands had that inspirational breakthrough. Bands like Jimmy Eat World, No Knife, Hey Mercedes, Weezer (Pinkerton Album) are groups that need to be considered as innovators of new rock. Rock and Roll! No doubt, and nuthin' is a close second. I prefer late 60's, 70's, and some 80's. Before I get clobbered, it's just my opinion. And, that and a buck-fifty, might get you a cup of coffee.

That's matters in your opinion. If you like songs that are a good beat to dance to and you like poems, some groovy songs, you must like rap or hip hop. If you like the sound of guitars, drums, and a voice, you must like my favorite, rock. Doesn't matter what kind. Rock. Alternative, heavy metal, old school, or whatever. You like the smooth sound of a orchestra, helps you relax, classical is for you. Get my point? There is no best type. The best is your favorite. But it may not be the best for other people.

I like all types of music, but I'd say my favorites are probably the contemporary Christian of the 80s and early 90s, alt-country, oldies, and ballads (like Peter, Paul, and Mary). My favorite band, though, plays something called "speedwood." Their name is Lost And Found and they can be found at www.speedwood.com The alt-country that I can definitely say I like are The Jayhawks and Golden Smog. I like The Beatles, The Beach Boys, etc. All the typical "Golden Oldies" bands. Other Christian artist I like - Nicole Nordeman, Jars of Clay (yeah, their original stuff), The Newsboys, Jaci Velasquez. . .

I like most music but I really like Ska and my favortie bands are No Doubt and Reel Big Fish. My second favorite is Hip Hop and I really like Talib Kweli, Mos Def and Kanye West.
