Yes. Not because the calories in to burn ratio is doing this, but because if you ate only fatty foods you would be deficient in proteins, vitamins, minerals and other essentials. Your body would eventually go into starvation mode - which means due to the malnutrition your body would start storing fuel (fat) to attempt to offset the malnutrition or for a lack of a better work - junk food starvation. Further your ability to do exercise would decrease - meaning while you might be up and walking, your body would go into conservation mode, denying the muscles the energy and rebuilding materials they need - you end up burning up less calories.
