Many times. More often than not it's about what kind of person I'm dealing with. I'll meet someone and think they are going to be this great person and I soon find out I'm dealing with some lying butthole. Not always, but enough for it to be a little disappointing. Too many people going through life pretending to be something they're not. Sad really.

All the time. I am hoping that I am wrong about the disastrous repercussions about the bill that Congress passed today. I have a sinking feeling that it will be much worse than I had imagined, however.

When I had a client that the local authorities were trying to take their kids. I had a feeling they weren't the best parents and hoped I was wrong about that. Turned out I was right. They wound up losing the kids to foster care/adoption.

Constantly..all the time..daily..yesterday. Those rollover politicians who sold their votes for more pork, more tax credits, more whatever. I feared they would, but I hoped I was wrong. Well, I was right and so were all of us right about the lack of integrity of our legislators. Sad day! :(

Yeah, I had hoped I was wrong about my boyfriend cheating on me. But he said something to me last night that actually confirmed it even more for me. He said to tell someone that you cheated (had a fling and it's over) is selfish and it accomplishes nothing. Basically, in the end I can't count on him being honest with me. Now or forever. But I think it's more selfish and self-protective to lie to your S/O.
