  • Actually, it could be the balls. They should be quite slick. I have some very nice Brunswick Centennial balls. If they pick up too much junk (sweat, chalk dust, etc.) they don't play right. If you have junk cloth that comes on most new tables, you may also have issues. When it is worn out, upgrade to something like Simonis or Granito. It is much more expensive, but plays much better and lasts longer. Try cleaning those pool balls with some furniture polish. They should play better. There are special polishes for pool balls, but that should give an indication of the problem and a cure.
