  • It takes determination, love for the Goddess and God and a deep respect for things and people. You've only got the first one. Keep working on it, little camper, and I'm sure you'll get there someday!
  • That depends on what you believe a witch to be. If you are thinking about someone who is very close to nature and who understands the healing powers of many common plants and flowers, then you probably would do well to study botany and medicine, then join a Wiccan society. If you are looking to join with Lucifer and destroy the world then you will be searching more for lost books of power, sexual rituals, and an eventual permanent room in an insane asylum. The powers that we see on fantasy programmes, like Charmed and Angel, don't really exist - they are straight from fairy tales and nightmares. There are, indeed, people who seem able to do things that are extraordinary, but they claim to have been born with these gifts. If you feel there is something special inside you then seek out one of these people, but please don't think that you will have interesting adventures every week.
  • Well go buy a broom and get some rockets and off you go.
  • ... as with any religion; study, understanding, belief, faith, determination, perseverence, honour & respect, time for experience, ... and there you are ...
  • Years of reading, studying, reading, practicing, reading and following your heart. I always say I didn't choose my path, the path chose me. Listen to your heart - it will lead you where you need to go. Just don't expect to be a 'witch' overnight.
  • I was Athiest for 20 years. When I was 21, I met someone who 'practiced' Witchcraft. I had no experience in this form of spirituality--and truthfully, no care or concern towards any religion or path towards the divine. One day she got a headache so bad that I had to take her to the hospital. Being a reader, I grabbed a book from her shelf and bolted without realizing what type of book I had attained. It turned out being a book on Witchcraft. As I read it--being a skeptic, having a deep interest in science--I realized that a decent amount of what I was reading had a scientific basis. Electromagnetic fields, energy, visualization. As I continued my studies into the occult, I began to practice the applications. Very soon thereafter, during my first Esbat--I had numerous experiences in that moment that were unexplainable to my skeptical and scientific mind--visions that I could not banish from my eyes, though I tried to believe my brain was just tricking me. Since then, I've gained psychic awareness, contacted and seen ghosts, sat down with animals and have seen magick come to fruition. The Spirits called me to Witchcraft--I almost had no choice. The moral of the story is this: If you open yourself--if you cast aside all belief that you had previously, if the Spirits have called you to practice magick, if you are attempting to live a pure and honorable life and have a strong desire to communicate with the universe--you can become a witch. My recommendation: Go into nature, or the beach on the next Full Moon. Spend time thinking about yourself--about the universe. Wait for the right moment to open your mouth and your heart--and pray to something higher than you. Pray to the universe--whatever you pray to needs not be named. Speak from your chest--your heart--and ask to see the truth. Ask for a sign. All you need to do to become a witch is have the desire to live a moral life--be honorable and pure--and use your magick to attain a better understanding of yourself and the divine. And don't be afraid to ask the universe to help you connect to nature and itself.
  • Learn how to wiggle your nose without touching it?
  • Read. Learn. Find out which path attracts you the most, and pursue that. We each have our own path to the Eternal, and no one else can tell you exactly how to get there. Blessings.
  • Learn magic and begin to practice it. Becoming a Wiccan is something else, however.
  • Start to learn spellcraft. It takes lots of research. I suggest start out with candle magick. Becoming a witch doesn't mean you have to have a religion to go with it.
  • Get married.
  • I know how my sister is a wiccan but God wouldnt like it if i told someone how to join that so have a good day =)
