If they can put a right to health care into the Iraqi constitution, surely we could put a similar right into ours.

I would give the power to the people have votes on every issue no goverment.

Here are the thing I would like the new constitution to include: ------------------------------------------------------- #1 - No attorneys would be allowed to hold any public office, ever. #2 - A representative must maintain a website for all constituents of his or her district. Each eligible voter in the district would have a unique username and password to access the representatives’ website. Each day, or as needed, he would post the issues to be voted on. All constituents would be able to logon and vote in an official poll to determine how the representative will vote. The representative MUST vote as his constituents have told him to vote. Any rep would be subject to recall if they did not vote as their constituents have told them to vote. #3 - A representative must maintain an office in his/her district which he must be at no less than 32 hours per week. #4 - A representative must attend every single day that congress is in session. No work, no pay. #5 – There will be no law or policy without direct voting of the eligible population. #6 – When a new bill is proposed, that bill and only that bill can be voted on – no earmarks of any kind ever. #7 – A representative, or any relative of, may never accept a gift from any lobbyist, no matter how small. #8 – English will be the official language. #9 – All ballots for any election will be printed in ENGLISH ONLY #10 – You must be a natural or naturalized citizen to own real estate. No foreign ownership of any business. A citizen my have a foreign partner, but the foreign partnership must never be more than 49%. #11 – No income or property taxes, consumption tax only. Anything that can be ingested as sustenance, all medications, housing, and 1 vehicle per person are exempt. I may post more as I have time to give thought.

7mph fender benders, crushed thorax, yada, yada, yada - Not my problem, not my expenses. Yeah it sucks for those people, sometimes things just suck but it is what it is and you cannot change it. But that does not give you, the government or anyone else the right to affect my life and income to pay for those that cannot by threat of force. Death is something that no one gets out of alive. Some peoples lives just suck, that is what churches and religion is for.

I don't know much about politics but i do know what matters to everyones lives, knowing the truth, being healthy, happy and safe from harm, the greater good. Theres alot of ignorance everywhere, and i see people voting but they really dont know what they're voting for. either way nothing really changes cause they are all the same which is kinda sad. Im kinda a futurist and see the best chance of hope is looking to a better future, and with people believing in religion as a cure for all their problems is really pathetic because religion isnt god, science is god, science can make miracles happen not some supernatural myth that cant even kill a fly. If a government focused on the greater good of every human being then they wouldent teach ignorance in the first place, thats putting people back in the past with all our old mistakes. If however it was focused on advancing this civilisation, then scientific research would be a top priority, without these stupid religious ethnics then we'd be much better already. Basically what im saying is a new government should include every person and be like a parent to a child teaching good from bad, better education for everyone, raising living standards for everyone, no matter if they're poor, old, or different in any shape or form, giving up hate to everything thats different, and a hope for a peaceful equal united human race The main threat to human civilisation is humans, if it was ordered more and prioritised for the greater good then anything that isnt as good should be ditched for our own sakes, Im talking about religion and unsuccesful governments, they obviously balls everything up so get rid of them! We need one government to rule all humanity, one that involves everyone and everything, thats in everyones favour. And with the wars, theres no need to kill each other? some of these countries at war are supposed to be civilised, it should be wars of diplomacy not weapons. I could go on for years about this, but it is basically utilitarianism and collectivism

I am still working on it ;) but the basics tenants would be (more or less): 1) no governmental interference other than to ensure the enaction of the following rules and unless there is the potential for harm to another individual 2) the right to the basics of a decent life such as housing and healthcare 3) a level playing field for competition 4) freedom of and from religion with no state funded religion 5) the right to representation and trial by a jury of peers 6) the right to privacy 7) freedom of speech and action (caveat with point 1) 8) representative decentralised democracy 9) an all out ban on bagpipes. I'm sorry I know it is an infringement of liberties but it's MY constitution and if I am banning anything it's bloody bagpipes!!!!
